Guildhouse Rosepride, in partnership with China Building Technique Group Co, will be delivering one of south London’s most iconic landmarks, One Lansdowne Road, in Croydon.
In delivering a world-class building opposite London’s third Westfield shopping centre, the developers underlined their commitment to creating a great piece of architecture by employing Piers Gough of CZWG Architects.
Mr Gough has been spectacularly successful in producing a design which will rival The Shard and Battersea Power Station among the feature buildings on the capital’s skyline.
With two towers of 68 and 41 storeys, an 11-storey podium spanning between the two buildings and the creation of the highest restaurant/bar in London as well as a viewing gallery at the top, One Lansdowne Road will change perceptions of Croydon forever.
Building to such a scale has been made possible by our partnership with the China Building Technique Co. Introduced to us by London Partners, the Mayor of London’s inward investment arm, CBTC are bringing their expertise to the design and construction of the towers and have been instrumental in making the building efficient and viable.
Croydon Council’s planning department granted permission for our updated plans for One Lansdowne in September 2017 and it is anticipated that work will begin on site during 2018.
